On November 4, 2008 the exhibition titles „Woman’s Day“ was open at the Gallery 21, Riga.

Authors of the concept -  Iveta Laure together with Ieva Dzintare, Marika Vitina and Rasa Jansone  accentuated everlasting question about the womens role in contemporary society.

„The image of the women is dominating ir Rasa’s work. It’s a depiction of a contemporary women that balances on the edge between the adult reality and the immediate perception and dreams of the childhood. However, despite the techniques characteristic to contemporary peinting, these images possess qualities of the literature from the early 20th century where the characters were revealed thanks to the seemingly accidental and fine details.“
